The color scheme is an unofficial nod to the colorway of the Jordan 9 Cleat that Michael wore with the Birmingham Barons minor league baseball team in 1994, as well as a salute to the Jordan 9 s Barons and Baseball Glove colorways. While the Particle Grey isn t an exact copy of any of these colorways, its black and grey details nonetheless show appreciation to the looks.
