Air Max 1, Museum Masterpiece
The Nike Air Max 1 86 "Museum Masterpiece" is a colorway of the retro running and lifestyle sneaker with a sculpture-inspired appearance. The Air Max 1 was designed by legendary shoe designer Tinker Hatfield in the mid-1980s, and was said to be inspired by the Centre Georges Pompidou building in Paris. On the Museum Masterpiece, Nike acknowledges the shoe s original inspiration with a unique, sculpture-like appearance. A Photon Dust nubuck Swoosh appears on the sides, while classic Nike Air Max 1 branding details appear on the tongue tag and heel. A visible Air unit in the heel of the white foam midsole completes the look. Release date: March 9, 2024
